Introduction

This document contains specialities of the dynamic inquiries for pursuits, foreign traveling and financial risks. Dynamic inquiries for medical risks are included in another document.

In the POS version for the UK you will find pursuit inquiry modules for the areas aviation (private and hobby flying only), diving, motorsports, cycling, equestrian and mountaineering. When the distinction refer is made, the dialog continues in order to capture as much information as required by an underwriter to make a final decision.

For past foreign travelling a risk level dependent inquiry module is triggered from the general foreign travel inquiry module. For future foreign travelling only one general module is triggered which takes the risk level into account within the assessment. At the moment the following risk levels are possible:

Past risk levels:
- A = low risk countries (no inquiry, result will be STD)
- B = high risk countries
Future risk levels:
- A = low risk country
- B = medium risk country
- C= moderately high risk countries
- D= high risk countries
- E = crisis area

The dialog for the selection lists for future and past travel that replace the standard selection list is realised with two relations ‘AP has future foreign travels’ and ‘AP has past foreign travels’. For companies who are not interested in past but only in future foreign travel the relation for past foreign travel can be deleted.

In this POS module there is no specific question whether the country is a crisis area. The opinion of the applicant would be too subjective. The underwriter can mark a country as crisis area in the country db of the RuleManager. Then the application will be referred although it could be accepted following the POS module assessment.

Financial modules

The financial trees have the purpose to cover financial questionnaires that are triggered by the limits database. In the POS the questionnaire is omitted, but the financial prompt module is executed instead.

The POS just gathers the financial information and does not evaluate it as companies vary greatly in their requirements. Also the sums assured will be high and in most cases medical evidence will also be required.

The POS financial module is triggered if one of the financial questionnaires for Life, CI, TPD or IP is required through the entries in the limits database.

The following questions are valid for every questionnaire and will be prompted before the purpose related questions:
